Auricular Prostheses

Refer a Patient
Our auricular (ear) prostheses are custom sculpted and painted to appear extremely realistic and to restore the active function of the ear.
An auricular prosthesis is medically necessary as it can help to channel sound into the ear canal while blocking sounds from behind. It also provides symmetry to the face and very successfully supports eye glasses and/or hearing aids.

Prosthetic retention, which is how the prosthesis attaches to the patient's remaining anatomy, may be achieved through the use of skin-safe medical adhesives, surgical implants, or a combination of both of these methods.
