Tammy Mark McClennen
Clinic Director

Tammy Mark McClennen was born & raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her whole world was in Toronto.  Then in 2008, her husband and business partner, Jay McClennen, got the job opportunity of a lifetime in Durham, North Carolina. So, they packed up and started their new adventure.

The general perception is that Canadians are friendly & polite, eh!  That is true.  However, that trait is not exclusive to the Canadian people.  The folks in Durham and in North Carolina are just as welcoming and friendly.  The McClennens have met many wonderful people from all walks of life – in their personal lives and professional lives at The Anaplastologist Clinic.

Most of Tammy’s work experience is in educational institutions.  She worked for over 13 years at The Ontario College of Art & Design University in the Faculty of Design’s administrative department.  Those years had a great impact on her career and personal growth.

At The Anaplastology Clinic, Tammy is the Clinic Director.  She operates mostly behind the scenes  maintaining the day-to-day functions of the Clinic and making sure that the Clinic continues to meet the requirements of the state & federal regulations.  She also helps the Practice Manager & Patient Care Coordinator with the challenges of getting our patient’s insurance to pay for their medically necessary services.

When Tammy is not working, she is devoted to her fur babies:  Finnigan, a very naughty orange tabby, loves to steal food off the kitchen counter and/or lick the pots & pans that were used to make the food.  Then, there are the 3 pugs!  Simon, Maple & Cooper are best buds.  Pugs are like potato chips – you can’t just have one!  Did you know that a group of 3 or more pugs is called a grumble?  The puggies are very busy napping most of the time and even let their brother, Finn, join them.  Awwww, eh?
