Polishing
We recommend professional polishing every 6-12 months. Regular polishing provides comfort, decreased mucosal drainage and a more natural appearance of the prosthesis. During the Polish appointment, we will examine your prosthesis under a microscope to make sure we remove all scratches, protein deposits and bacteria from the surface of the prosthesis without over polishing, to ensure the longest life possible for your prosthesis.
During this appointment, an examination will also be performed to ensure your tissue is healthy and your prosthesis is fitting correctly.
